So, 2013? Rocked.
John moved back from North Dakota in mid-January. I was still living at Grandma's but we spent a lot of time together. We celebrated our one year anniversary. He got a security job here and we decided to move in together. We moved into our apartment in March.
In April, I earned a huge promotion at work. From taking my state insurance license classes and test to getting used to the new job, I spent my time getting acquainted to my new surroundings. John and I bought nice bikes and spent a lot of time riding them over the summer.
The summer brought a lot of fun with friends. From bachelorette parties to wedding showers to Chicago to see Justin Timberlake, it was a fun, fun summer.
Three of my good friends got married. Two of John's couple friend's got married. I was a personal attendant and bridesmaid.
John proposed! I said yes, and we spent the last four months of the year trying to figure out what kind of wedding we want.
We got a new cat, Brian. He's orange, and lovely.
That brings us here. December 30, 2013. I'm not feeling way. Laying on the couch, eating chicken soup and watching Sex and the City. Tomorrow John works in the afternoon. I'm going to my friend Aly's apartment for Cards Against Humanity and comfy clothes.
So, what about 2014? I hope it brings me becoming a wife. It might bring us to becoming homeowners. I hope it's the year John and I take care of our health - physical, mental and spiritual.
